Raja Ampat Islands - Indonesia

Location: Northwest corner of Indonesia's West Papua province

With a splendid natural landscape still unspoiled, the Raja Ampat archipelago (Indonesia) in the Coral Triangle area is considered the place with surreal natural images in Asia. Raja Ampat also means "four kings" located near the coast of New Guinea to the northwest. Now, this archipelago is a national park of Indonesia. There are about 1,500 islands with many mountains, the largest of which are the islands of Waigeo, Batanta, Salawati, and Misool. And of these, less than 40 islands are inhabited and imprinted with tourists. The small islands with verdant vegetation and underwater are sea creatures, and colorful coral reefs have created a wonderful natural scene for Raja Ampat.

Nature in Raja Ampat was well preserved, so it is still wild and quiet and fresh. Therefore, although the islands are located quite far from the mainland, the number of world tourists looking to the "paradise on earth" Raja Ampat is sharply increasing every year. For scuba divers, Raja Ampat is considered a must-visit place in life because 70% of the world's coral reefs are concentrated here. Visitors can also easily admire whales, dolphins, sea turtles, and many kinds of fish with impressive shapes and colors. Natural picture in Raja Ampat is also dotted with images of blue lagoons, mangroves, and primeval forests.
