Rakang Thai Restaurant

Rakang Thai is situated in the popular Jordaan area and guarantees a good night out. A nice little place a few hundred meters from the city center. The staff is really nice and the food was great, with typical Thai flavors. They are all about fresh ingredients and dishes that are made to share with friends and family. Everything was very great, the food was very delicious and the staff are very welcoming.

The best way to start your dining experience is with the Five Buddies platter that comes with chicken satay, chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, deep-fried Thai fish cake, Thai spring roll, and crispy shrimp wanton. The crunchy prawns marinated in a special homemade tamarind sauce, garnished with shallot & garlic oil, Thai coriander, and roasted chilies are amazing. Or, if you’d rather go for meat the crispy stir-fried chicken fillet with a sweet shrimp paste, mushrooms, onions, and roasted cashew nuts is a good one. Definitely worth a visit, you’ll never be disappointed.
