Reckitt Benckiser Group plc (RB) is a maker of home, hygiene, and health goods. It was founded in 1999 by the merging of the Dutch business Benckiser NV and the British company Reckitt & Colman plc. RB is currently attempting to enhance its position through acquisitions and new product launches, with operations in around 60 countries globally.

The company established its one-of-a-kind Science and Innovation Centre in Hull, England, in December 2019. It would cost £200 million to build and would include the most up-to-date consumer health laboratory facilities. 'Dettol Hand Sanitizer,' the company's best-selling product, claims to kill 99.9% of germs. Dettol has stayed at the forefront of consumer hygiene by developing new ways and products to protect people against germs.
