Restaurant Leo was founded by Karl Firla, the former head chef and owner of Oscillate Wildly, and Federico Zanellato, the current head chef and owner of LuMi Bar & Dining. You can expect some of the greatest Italian cuisines from both chefs, who share a passion for using fresh, local Australian ingredients.
You may savor exquisite meals like veal saltimbocca wrapped in prosciutto and sage, beautiful King George whiting topped with fresh salsa verde, and cuttlefish and pea risotto cooked with koshihikari rice, which changes based on the season and what's available. Tartufo, torta caprese, and tiramisu are some of the classic Italian desserts also available. Restaurant Leo's 19-page wine menu, created by Fabio Sercecchi, a former sommelier at Balla at The Star, features wines from France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, and Croatia, as well as some of Australia's top wines. Few restaurants in Sydney can compete with Restaurant Leo for the title of "best Italian restaurant."
