The Broadmoor Hotel, like the Brown Palace, exudes a distinct, opulent Colorado character. Since opening its doors in 1865, the Broadmoor, located amid the foothills west of Colorado Springs, has provided guests with an authentic mountain resort experience. The restaurants at the Broadmoor depict an era of Colorado that many people are unaware of today, one that embodies an ambitious, elegant, and adventurous culture that was popular in the area immediately before statehood in 1876.
