Rimowa GmbH
Rimowa GmbH is a German luxury luggage brand. The company was founded in 1898 by Paul Morszeck and originally produced cases and suitcases made of wood and leather. In the 1930s, Rimowa began producing luggage made of lightweight aluminum, which became its signature material.
Today, Rimowa is known for its high-quality aluminum and polycarbonate luggage, which is designed to be durable and practical while also stylish and modern. The company has a reputation for innovation and has been responsible for a number of luggage-related firsts, including the first suitcase with a telescopic handle and the first suitcase with four wheels.
In 2017, Rimowa was acquired by luxury goods group LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, which has helped the brand expand its global reach and increase its offerings. Today, Rimowa is sold in more than 90 countries worldwide and has become a favorite among luxury travelers and fashion enthusiasts.
