Rinchenpong
Rinchenpong is a quaint town in West Sikkim that offers a majestic view of Kanchenjunga amidst verdant forests encased in fog. In spring, the place looks more colourful with a variety of fully-bloomed rhododendrons, wild mountain flowers and orchids. It is about 120 kilometres away from Gangtok and only 35 kilometres from Pelling. You can visit Rinchenpong on your day trip from Pelling, but it is recommended to stay here for some days if you seek peace and solace on your Sikkim honeymoon trip.
In addition to this, if you want to plan a honeymoon trek with your partner, Rinchenpong would be a great choice of place. It offers several trekking courses among which the Kaluk-Rinchenpong region stands as a popular one. Apart from the trek, travellers can also enjoy some other places in Rinchenpong such as Rinchenpong Monastery, Sirijunga Temple, Chayatal Lake, Poison Lake, and Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary, etc.
