Riverside School
Riverside School is an independent, non-profit IB school in Prague. It has provided an international English education for students aged 3–18 since 1994. The curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum, and in Senior High, students can pursue IGCSEs and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. The school's co-directors are Al Falk and Graeme Chisholm, and it celebrated its 25th year of operation in 2019.
Riverside School holds accreditations from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). It is also an accredited Council of British International Schools (COBIS) member. Additionally, Riverside is part of the European Council of International Schools, the Association of Christian Schools International, and the Independent Schools Christian Alliance.
The school's goal is to offer a relevant international curriculum to enrich the lives of every child and prepare them for adulthood experiences, opportunities, and responsibilities. Riverside’s Primary Curriculum is based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales.
Junior High at Riverside lays the foundation for secondary education, building on the learning and skills acquired in Primary and Elementary schools. It provides a curriculum that equips each student with a broad range of knowledge, skills, and opportunities for the future.
Riverside’s High School curriculum revolves around the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programs. Graduating students earn the Riverside High School Diploma by acquiring the necessary credits in various curriculum areas and pursuing the IB Diploma.
