Root Cellar Café & Brewery first opened its doors in February 2005, and they are honored to be a part of the hallowed site's rich history, currently known as San Marcos, Texas. Root Cellar Catering is a locally inspired company dedicated to offering delectable food prepared with only the freshest ingredients in an elegant, laid-back setting. They specialize in serving house-made, artisanal Americana cuisine.

Root Cellar Café & Brewery takes the time to produce the meals from scratch, using ingredients from local Texas farms, and they bake their own bread on a regular basis. In addition, their "Desserts for a Difference" campaign with the Hays County Food Bank has raised over $4,000 for the food bank each year.
