After coming upon a family antique recipe book from the 1780s, the owner was motivated to create this business. The Peasant Village Restaurant is located across from downtown San Angelo, Texas, in a 1927 home near the Concho River. Chef Jason picked up cuisine and flavor influences from Greece, Germany, and Turkey while visiting military family members and traveling regularly, and partnered with chefs in Australia to combine American and Brazilian themes. Chef Jason has returned to San Angelo permanently to bring those flavors and influences back to his hometown.
