Roy Black
Roy Black is a civil and criminal attorney based in Miami. He defended William Kennedy Smith over the rape allegation in 1991 and has also represented other celebrities such as Rush Limbaugh, Kelsey Grammer, Jeffrey Epstein and Justin Bieber.
He is known for his brilliantly organized and well-studied arguments during his trial, and he scored the highest possible score when he took the Florida Bar Exam in 1970. Black is often referred to as "the professor," perhaps referring to the time he spent lecturing as an associate professor of criminal evidence at the University of Miami.
Black has appeared frequently as legal counsel on Good Morning America and Early Show. He also appeared on Miami's Real Housewives as his third wife, Leah Black, was one of his co-stars. Black began meeting Lee a few months after serving as Black's jury in the case of William Kennedy Smith.
