The Royalton's main-level lounge, which is dark and glam, is well-liked among midtown businessmen and women. This is one of the Most Romantic Hotels In NYC. It was completely redone in 2007 by Roman and Williams, the design group responsible for the eccentric interiors of Ace Hotel New York. Forty-Four, the hotel's American bistro, is famed for its seasonally inspired drinks and serves free coffee and cappuccinos to guests. A Sorrento Sunrise can be enjoyed at the horseshoe-shaped bar, or you can relax in a leather chair in front of the bronze fireplace.

The large rooms include mahogany furnishings and an inviting slate-gray color scheme. The in-room amenities include an iPad with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen HD TV, a minibar, and spa services upon request. A circular Roman tub measuring five feet in diameter is standard in most bathrooms (note, there are no tubs on floors 11 through 14). From October through April, you can warm up by a blazing fire after a soak; most rooms have wood-burning fireplaces.
