Bartolo Ponticorvo was born in 1991 to a modest, working-class family in the famous coastal town of Sorrento, Italy. He has always had a strong interest in the visual arts and an innate talent for them, as well as an eye for detail and style. Bartolo began his career in the hair industry when he was 14 years old. Bartolo's career began when he was motivated to buy a Vespa (of all things) and inspired by his business acumen. By the age of 15, he was working as a shampoo boy in some of Sorrento's most prestigious salons. He not only saved enough money to buy that Vespa, but he also discovered his true calling in the world of hair. Bartolo moved to America after finishing school and working for several years in various top salons in Sorrento.
