Saulkrasti Beach
Saulkrasti translates to "Sunny Shores" in English. The Saulkrasti beach features a lengthy stretch of hotels, residences, and restaurants that go along the road to Tallinn, which is about 40 kilometers north of Riga. The drowsy thorp has a lot to offer because this beach stretches for almost 15 kilometers, thus finding a place to rest by the sea is never an issue.
If you're looking for a more tranquil and serene area to watch the waves, head north to Riga's other sea coast. Train tickets are less expensive, and the trains are just as crowded, but the coasts are unquestionably less so. You may take off virtually anywhere from Lilaste onward, and the waves are only a leap, jump, and skip away from the train station.
Apart from the beach, there are other nature trails in Saulkrasti, such as the sunset path, which extends over 3 kilometers from the White Dune to the Sun Bridge. This will take you into the bush but never far enough away from the nearby sea to catch a glimpse of the late northern twilight.
