Seogwipo
The second-largest city on Jeju Island is charmingly tucked away on a rugged volcanic coastline that is filled with green parks, a deep valley, and two waterfalls. Seogwipo is one of Korea's premier diving locations thanks to its crystal-clear blue waters and temperate ocean temps. Furthermore, hiking is a great activity in these beautiful environments.
A wonderful approach to appreciate Jeju's natural and cultural beauties is to trek the Olle-gil. More than 20 of them travel through Seogwipo, with four of them. Small villages, beaches, farmland, forests, or any other variation can be found along each route, giving travelers a distinctive view of the island. The paths are usually pretty simple to travel, although there are a few places where they do get steep and need some physical fitness.
The vibe at Seogwipo is similar to other Korean beach villages, with historic businesses and love motels. But it also includes citrus fields and verdant gardens that are surrounded by black granite barriers. People may simply walk across the entire town because it is so small. Traditional daily markets can be seen in Seogwipo's downtown Olle Market. Along Lee Joong-seop Street, Myeongdong Road, Arang Joeul Street, and Chilsimni Food Street, there is also a lot to see and eat.
