Shukoran is a 3,825-meter-high mountain in Taiwan's Yushan National Park. The Xiuguluan River, which has numerous tributaries nearby, including the Fuyuan River, Fengping River, and Lekuleku River, is located in Hualien County.
Broadleaf woods and subtropical moist forest can be found on the peak. Because the mountain is located in Taiwan's active zone, it is prone to frequent and large earthquakes, as well as landslides and flooding in its lowland sections.
