Sign: Communication Is Important
As a part-time employee, Soohwa discovers that, in contrast to common opinion, the coffee at Café Goyo is poor and that he is not expected to provide a high-quality product. Instead, Yohan, the café manager, who has hearing loss, asks him to increase his sign language knowledge. Yohan offers to teach Soohwa sign language, and Soohwa discovers that it could be more difficult than he anticipated. Rarely do manhwas show romantic connections involving people with disabilities. Not only has Sign accomplished it, but she did so brilliantly. The third Lezhin Comics World Comic Contest winner undoubtedly shared that opinion. The growth of Soohwa and Yohan's relationship is so admirably wholesome, yet it also portrays hearing-impaired communication challenges in a very realistic way.
The documentary "Sign" explores the intricacies of human emotions and the difficulties people have communicating their wants and worries. It shows how the characters develop as they deal with societal expectations, misconceptions, and miscommunications while also developing true communication skills. "Sign" has gained a devoted following and established itself as a cherished member of the BL manhwa genre thanks to its intriguing writing, captivating artwork, and treatment of issues like self-acceptance, vulnerability, and emotional intimacy.
