Spotify is the best podcast streaming app for people who already use it for their music because they can get everything all in one place. This app has an exclusive function in that users can create their own playlists with their favorite podcast episodes to listen to them continuously without controlling each podcast episode. And it is free to use if you don't mind the advertisements. However, if you don’t want to be interrupted by advertisements, Spotify has a Premium level of $9.99 per month.
To use Spotify, you need to download this app from Google Play and create an account by your Email or your Facebook. On the first page, Spotify will make recommendations for you, and you have to choose 3 or more artists you like. The home page of the application will display.
At the bottom of the home screen, you have four different icons: Home, Search, Your Library and Premium. When the podcast is playing, there is a control taskbar on the home page, which shows the name of the podcast and the pause button. When pressing this taskbar, the main screen of the podcast will appear. At the center bottom, there are a timeline of podcast and icons to play or pause, go ahead and skip through podcasts. At the top left, an icon shaping three vertical dots is where you can add this podcast to other playlists, see its artist, see its album, share, time to go to sleep and more.
Overall, Spotify offers a wide range of essential functions for Android users to gain perfect experiences when listening to podcasts. This app deserves as one of the best podcast apps for Android.
