In Singapore, Stamford American International School (SAIS) is a co-educational international school. Cognita owns and operates the school, which began enrolling students in August 2009.
Over 75 countries are represented among Stamford American's student population, which spans six continents. Students from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and China make up the bulk of Stamford American's student body.
Stamford American is Singapore's first and only school to provide various graduation options. Students get a Stamford High School diploma that is recognized in the United States, as well as the option to pursue the International Baccalaureate (IB) or Advanced Placement (AP) diplomas. Over 40 IB courses and more than 20 AP courses are available at the institution. Stamford American also became the first international school in Southeast Asia to offer Pearson Level 3 BTEC Diplomas, which are comparable to A-Levels, in December 2020.
Graduates from the Class of 2021 received a perfect score on the IB course. Boston University, New York University, University of California Los Angeles, and other prestigious universities across the world have accepted the Class of 2021, including significant acceptances from Boston University, New York University, and University of California Los Angeles, ... etc.
