Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon
The Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon is a well-established niche marathon held on the beautiful island of Jersey in the British-controlled Channel Islands, and it boasts some of the most beautiful scenery of any marathon in the world.
The race, which is divided into three categories: marathon, relay race, and 'Marathon Mile' fun run, attracts approximately 2,500 runners each year, with more than half of the marathon runners from outside the Island.
The event accepts a variety of runner types, elite athletes compete for prize money and times, corporate teams compete for the prestige of winning the trophy, and many more compete to do something genuinely remarkable for the benefit of others in a professional yet pleasant atmosphere.
