Step 4: Meditation

Meditating on the Mul Mantra is a special and deep practice that brings peace and spiritual understanding. To start, find a quiet and comfy place to sit. Close your eyes, take some deep breaths, and let your body relax. The Mul Mantra begins with "Ik Onkar," which means the divine is all one. When you meditate, focus on this idea, feeling connected to everything in the universe.

Continue your meditation by saying the words "Sat Nam," which means "True Name." Repeat these words and let them echo inside you, thinking about the truth in every part of who you are. Imagine this truth filling your mind, body, and soul, creating a strong link to the essence of existence.

The next part of the Mul Mantra is "Karta Purkh," highlighting the divine as a creator. In your meditation, think about a kind and powerful force that shapes the universe. Feel like you're letting go of any worries, surrendering to this higher power.

Think about the phrase "Nirbhau Nirvair" during your meditation, meaning "Without Fear, Without Hate." Picture a state of fearlessness and love in yourself and toward others. Release any hard feelings, embrace a mindset of kindness and understanding. This part of the mantra encourages a heart that's free from fear and hate.

The last part, "Akal Murat," talks about the timeless form of the divine. In your meditation, picture a presence that's beyond time and always there. Feel connected to something infinite, understanding that there's a divine essence that never changes.

Finish your meditation with the Mul Mantra's final words, "Ajooni Saibhang Gur Prasad," thinking about the divine beyond birth and death, self-existent, and realized through the Guru's grace. Let these ideas sink into your heart, bringing a feeling of peace and spiritual fulfillment to your meditation.
