Start by finding a comfy, quiet spot to sit or lie down. Close your eyes gently and take slow, deep breaths. Focus on your breathing as you take air in and let it out. Try to let go of any thoughts that pop up, so your mind can feel calmer and more centered.

While you keep breathing deeply, start watching your thoughts without judging them. Picture them like clouds passing in the sky, just moving along. Notice each thought that comes up, but don't hold onto it. Instead, let it go and bring your attention back to your breath. This helps make space between your thoughts, so you can see your mind more clearly.

Check how your body feels. See if there's any tension or discomfort, and try to relax those areas. Go from your head to your toes, paying attention to every part. This helps you connect more with your body, making your mind and body feel closer together.

Be okay with being still and quiet. Let yourself just be in the moment without wanting or expecting anything. When you're aware like this, you might start feeling like you understand yourself better and why you're here. It might feel like finding a part of yourself that's been there but you haven't noticed because life is usually so busy.
