Sunnybrook School
One of the leading international schools in Canada is Sunnybrook School. Sunnybrook School (SBS) is a coeducational, private primary school with one class per grade level from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. One of Toronto's first preschools, founded in 1952, Sunnybrook is a residential street in North Toronto, notably in the Mount Pleasant West neighborhood of Davisville Village, west of Bayview Avenue.
Sunnybrook School has been run by the same family for over 60 years. Sunnybrook School was the first English-speaking school in Canada to implement the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) in April 1999. Sunnybrook School was the first authorized IB PYP school in Canada outside of Quebec in 2002.
