Sunzal Beach

Sunzal Beach is a popular surfing area near the well-known El Tunco beach. They are roughly a half-mile apart. President Bukele's Surf City project includes El Sunzal Beach, which hosted the 2021 ISA World Championship Games in 2021. El Sunzal is without a doubt one of the best surfing beaches in El Salvador. It is commonly recognized as El Salvador's best surfing area, with its distinctive black sand.

The water is shallower here, making it ideal for beginners and inexperienced divers and snorkelers. Regardless of how shallow you are, the rough seabed will provide plenty of visibility. The surf conditions here are also excellent for all levels of surfers, including beginners. Even if you have never surfed before, there are surf instructors dotted along the beach to assist you in catching a wave. Due to the serious point break, surfers will have a terrific time surfing the waves here. As a result, El Sunzal is the place to go if you want to see some famous surf turf.
