Sursock Museum

The Sursock Museum, which houses several works of modern and contemporary art, is among the top attractions in Beirut. The Nicolas Ibrahim Sursock Museum is another name for the Sursock. The museum is housed in the old residence of Beirut aristocrat Nicolas Sursock. It mostly supports modern art but also occasionally sponsors contemporary shows. The museum is well-known for modern art, Japanese engravings, and Islamic art and has a collection of more than 800 works of art.
