Tallinn Old Town Days
Tallinn Old Town Days (Estonian: Tallinna vanalinna päevad) is a cultural and entertainment festival held in Tallinn's Old Town. They are the Old Town's major celebration, dedicated to the community's cultural history. The festival's purpose is to introduce the public to Tallinn Old Town. The first event was held in 1982. Sulev Roosma, a sailor, came up with the festival concept after being inspired by Kiel Week.
Every year at the start of summer, the event takes place for roughly a week. A variety of musical, dramatic, artistic, and sports activities are held for both residents and guests over the course of five days. The courtyards of the Old Town are open to both old and young visitors to learn about Tallinn's rich and intriguing history and participate in a variety of activities. Concerts, exhibits, theatrical performances, fairs, and other entertainment events fill the streets of Tallinn Old Town throughout the festival.
