Tanger Outlets Atlantic City
In Atlantic City, New Jersey, Tanger Outlets is the only open-air mall of its kind and a reasonably priced outdoor shopping center. The outlet mall has about 70 stores and has well-known names including Old Navy, Forever 21, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, J.Crew, Coach, H&M, and a lot more. A member of the TangerClub reward program can receive discounts on a variety of products. With an unconventional layout spanning many city blocks and a total retail area of around 1.3 million square feet, Tanger Outlets offers a wide variety of goods and services, making a visit both popular and enjoyable.
In the early 2000s, Tanger Outlets was expanded as part of the Atlantic City Corridor Project, which brought a sizable Nike outlet and a variety of new retailers. A Hanes outlet and the Wave, a garage-style space, were added during an extension that was finished in 2011. The African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey and the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University are now part of The Wave.
The African American Heritage Museum preserves over 3,000 cultural artifacts, including significant works by local artists in New Jersey. The Noyes Arts Garage offers a glimpse into the art creation processes by showing individual artists working on their original pieces along with regularly rotating exhibitions.
The Absecon Lighthouse, Steel Pier, and Dante Hall Theatre are close to Tanger Outlets. The Absecon Lighthouse, the highest lighthouse in New Jersey and a recognized historical landmark, is located near the northernmost point of Atlantic City. It is accessible to the public for viewing. The Steel Pier, Atlantic City's oldest theme park, offers an unrivaled selection of food and entertainment. The Ducktown Summer Fest is held at the performing arts venue Dante Hall Theatre.
