Tarout Island
Tarout Island, located in the Persian Gulf, is one of the most ancient locations in Saudi Arabia, with a total size of 70 square kilometers. Tarout Island is a small island in the Persian Gulf that belongs to Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province and is connected to Qatif by two causeways. It stretches from Ra's Tannurah in the north to Qatif in the west, six kilometers from the coast, and is the Persian Gulf's longest island after Qeshm Island.
The ancient settlement of Tarout, in the center of the island, is connected to the mainland by a high bridge, and it is reported that 4,000-year-old antiques have been discovered there. Darin Corniche, Ramlet AL Baydaa, Tarout Castle, and AL Musalli Museum are the four main attractions.
In the winter, the afternoons may be rather warm, reaching up to 25 degrees Celsius, therefore the temperature in Saudi Arabia is pretty pleasant. The destination's rich history and traditions mirror the transitions of several colonies. Chariot rides, fishing, sunset gazing, and riding in a pedaled cab are all pleasant activities to do in Saudi Arabia.
