The American School of Kuwait
The American School of Kuwait was founded over fifty years ago by a group of American parents who formed a Board of Trustees with the goal of establishing an international school that was genuinely modeled after the American school model.
ASK's story is one of tenacity, strong leadership, and dedication from all members of the organization, past and present, to the aim of providing children with the finest levels of American education in Kuwait.
Since its inception, the American School of Kuwait has come a long way. ASK takes pleasure in providing the best American curriculum and instruction in Kuwait. The school's success may be attributed to its solid governance, dedicated administration, and instructors. The American institution of Kuwait's successes and accomplishments may be observed in the successful graduates who have graduated from the institution annually.
The Elementary School curriculum is linked with Common Core State criteria, and grades are based on those criteria. The curriculum includes core topics taught in a homeroom setting, as well as specialists (art, music, and physical education) and Arabic.
Within that framework, it seeks to develop responsible, productive, and highly effective individuals who embrace cultural diversity, show respect for self and the rights of others, work cooperatively, and practice good citizenship in the middle school at the American School of Kuwait.
The American School of Kuwait takes pride in its diversified academic and AP curriculum. Students can choose from a variety of core and elective courses in English, Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Performing and Visual Arts, World Languages, Physical Education, Information Technology, and Religion. Arabic is necessary for native Arabic speakers, while Religion is compulsory for all Muslim students.
It aims to provide a dynamic and diversified co-curricular program for the school community's children and young people. It aims to inspire students to actively participate in meaningful activities outside of the classroom in order to build skills to become life-long learners and responsible global citizens.
