South Korean manhwa "The Boxer" was produced by artist Yang Seung-ju and writer Jeon Geuk-jin. It began serializing in 2012 and was finished in 2014. That is one of the best manhwa (webtoons) where MC is emotionless (cold). The path of Kang Hu, a gifted but disturbed young man with a difficult history, is followed in "The Boxer" narrative. Former boxing champion Kang Hu was forced to quit the sport when a controversy damaged his image. He now lives a routine life and works as a debt collector to support himself. His life, however, takes an unexpected turn when he comes across the enigmatic group known as "The Fist of God."
A covert underground fighting group known as "The Fist of God" holds bloody fights in secret. Due to his love of combat and desire to once again prove himself, Kang Hu finds himself dragged into this realm. He finds mysteries and faces tough foes as he explores this dark and frightening place further. "The Boxer" covers themes of atonement, personal development, and pursuing one's aspirations. It depicts the difficult physical and psychological struggles that Kang Hu faces as he battles not just his opponents in the ring but also his own inner demons. The manhwa captures the adrenaline-fueled action and the psychological toll it has on its protagonists while showcasing the unadulterated intensity of the boxing contests.
