The Channel Islands Military Museum
The Channel Islands Military Museum is housed in a former 10.5cm casemate and forms part of Hitler's Atlantic Wall defenses sitting as it does alongside the seawall. The museum is full of German militaria from the 5 long years of Occupation as well as many Civilian items of the time. Every room is bursting with the many items collected over the last 40 years by the museum's owner. This standard casemate has been turned into a time capsule for those interested in the history of our recent past.
The museum opens at 10 a.m. on April 11 and will be open 7 days a week (10 to 5) until the end of October. The Channel Islands Military Museum is rated as the most beautiful historical site in Jersey. The objects in the museum are very ancient and old, which shows that the Military Museum of the Channel Islands has existed for a long time.
