The Heritage City Of Zabid

Between the 13th and 15th centuries AD, Zabid was Yemen's ancient capital. The city is famed for its large mosque, which was erected in the 7th century AD by an Islamic prophet. As a result, UNESCO designated Zabid as a Yemen World Heritage Site.

However, the city's conservation status is low. That is why Zabid has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Yemen. Tourists can still visit the site due to its heritage.
