Japanese web book series "The Irregular at Magic High School" (㭔法科高校の劣等生, Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei, literally "The Poor Performing Student of a Magic High School") was written by Tsutomu Satō. It was released from October 2008 to March 2011 on the web novel website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. After reaching an agreement with Dengeki Bunko, Satō started publishing his works as light novels in July 2011.
