Visit The Peninsula in Manhattan, which is situated at the junction of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street, for an absolutely magnificent Christmas decoration show. Characters from The Reindeer's Travels by Mrs. Claus, a holiday children's book written especially for the hotel, are featured on the dazzling tree in the main lobby. On December 11, the story will be read aloud, and then the culinary crew will make gingerbread reindeer.

At the end of November, guests may travel up to Salon de Ning, the hotel's stylish rooftop bar on its East Terrace, to kick off the holiday celebrations with a tree lighting party complete with drinks, canapés, and carols. The New York Center for Children will get half of the evening's revenues, which will help spread holiday pleasure. If you plan to remain over New Year's, Salon de Ning will hold a disco party with a live DJ, specialty cocktail bar, and lots of champagne to ring in 2022, inspired by Studio 54.
