The Resort at Pelican Hill

The Resort at Pelican Hill is located on the hills of Newport Beach, California, overlooking the sea. The premium resort stands on 504 acres and offers beautiful rooms and suites, many of which have ocean views. However, getting to Crystal Cove State Park's beach requires a long climb (or a short drive). The hotel does, however, provide a luxury van shuttle service between the two, which runs hourly during daytime hours.

The beach is beautiful, and there is even a small historic district to explore with restaurants and stores. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also available at the resort. Back on the resort grounds, there are many swimming pools, including one that is circular and has a floor made up of over a million hand-set glass mosaic tiles. There is also nightly live music and a variety of restaurants to pick from.
