Although the Roxy does a good job of honoring its Tribeca Grand heritage, the interior of the hotel features one of those perimeter balcony configurations that is more evocative of a convention-center Marriott than a downtown boutique hotel: The lounge is filled with cozy eccentric sofas, and a pool table is set up in an attractive spot off to the side.

Nothing yells, everything is serene since everything is brown, gold, and white. The windows and doors are extremely soundproof, which is vital given the nonstop commotion outside on the street and below in the hotel, and maybe most importantly when you retire to your room and drop into one of the most comfortable beds you've ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. Customers are allowed to bring their pets to this hotel and unwind in the chic setting.
