The World of the Married (2020)

Kim Hee-ae, Park Hae-joon, and Han So-hee appear in the 2020 South Korean television series The World of the Married. Based on Mike Bartlett's BBC One drama series Doctor Foster, it chronicles the narrative of a married couple whose betrayal leads to a whirlwind of retribution, pain, forgiveness, and healing. From March 27 to May 16, 2020, it broadcast on JTBC on Fridays and Saturdays.

Ji Sun Woo, a successful family doctor and assistant director appear to have it all. She lives happily in Gosan with her attractive husband Lee Tae Oh, whom she helped financially develop an entertainment firm, and their adolescent son, Joon Young. The beautiful image of happy, loving family life, however, is shattered when she finds that her husband is having an affair and that even their common acquaintances are assisting him in concealing it. Devastated by the betrayal, she embarks on a journey of vengeance and self-recovery.
