Theo
Theo was founded by two opticians, Wim Somers and Patrick Hoet, who wanted to offer their customers something different from the mainstream brands. They started designing their own frames, inspired by art, architecture, and culture, and soon gained a loyal following of customers who appreciated their bold and playful style.
Theo is about more than just looks. They are likewise concerned with quality and craftsmanship. Their frames are comprised of premium materials like titanium, acetate, stainless steel, and wood. They are handcrafted in tiny workshops in Belgium, France, and Japan by talented artisans who pay close attention to detail. Theo frames are both attractive and sturdy, as well as comfy and useful.
Some of their most popular collections include:
- Mille: A collection of frames with geometric shapes and vibrant colors, inspired by the works of Piet Mondrian and Theo van Doesburg.
- James: A collection of frames with rounded edges and soft curves, inspired by the smoothness of pebbles.
- Eye-Witness: A collection of frames with asymmetrical shapes and contrasting colors, inspired by the optical illusions of Victor Vasarely.
Theo is more than a brand. It's a personality and inventiveness. Through your spectacles, you may convey yourself and your emotions. It is a different way of seeing the world and making it more vibrant.
