How to play Threes! is quite easy for beginners. There is a four-by-four grid full of numbered cards. Players simply swipe up, down, right, or left to cause all cards on the board to move one space in that direction (if possible). For instance, smooshing a 3 into another 3 creates a 6; smooshing that 6 against another 6 also makes a 12, and so on. This simple game grows increasingly complex and challenging when the board fills up with cards, and space becomes scarce. Finally, when the board runs out of space, it’s game over.
