Uncommon Goods
Uncommon Goods began in 1999 as a marketplace for one-of-a-kind handmade goods, but it has now expanded into a treasure trove of homewares with intriguing backstories. Small production presents for children, teens, and adults, home accents, jewelry, accessories, kitchen and home entertaining goods, art, games, books, food and drink, and DIY kits are all available from the company. Approximately half of the items are handcrafted by independent artists and craftspeople, who frequently use recycled, repurposed, or upcycled materials. This is the retailer to watch for one-of-a-kind home renovations, from city-inspired bookshelves to personalized clocks sold exclusively on the site.
Over the previous 24 years, it has expanded to roughly 200 year-round team members, with hundreds of items being delivered daily from our Brooklyn headquarters to consumers around the country. Its collection has expanded from Dave's craft fair finds to hundreds of designs handpicked by the buying team, who search the world for unique things every year. Uncommon Goods also discovers unusual things through online submissions from our artist and designer community. If you've always wanted to buy someone a one-of-a-kind present or find one for yourself, Uncommon Goods is the place to start. You would be supporting not only a B Corp, a corporation that is socially and environmentally conscientious, but also local companies and craftspeople.
