Unforgettable wildlife
Spotting some of the most well-known animals in Canada is one of the top priorities for many people when planning a vacation there, and there are plenty that you might be able to see. Numerous wild animals, such as bears, cougars, wolves, and others, can be found in Canada. However, when exploring Canada's wildlife, visitors should always let someone know where you are going when hiking, and never leave home without a bear bell and bear spray.
The moose, the largest member of the deer family and a national symbol of Canada, dominates the country's woodlands. Male moose can be identified by their enormous antlers, which can stretch a staggering six feet broad. Moose are easily recognized by their long faces and muzzles that hang over their chins. During your vacation, you might see Orcas, Minke Whales, Humpback Whales, Harbour Porpoises, Dall's Porpoises, Harbour Seals, Harp Seals, Hooded Seals, Elephant Seals, and Steller and California Sea Lions, among other animals, in Canada's waters.
