Universal American School is proud to offer personalized learning paths that cater to the unique needs and interests of students from elementary school to graduation.
In elementary school, students follow a tailored curriculum that aligns with both the New York State Standards (NYSS) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).
From grades 6 to 10, students have the opportunity to explore courses that align with the New York State Standards. This helps them make informed decisions about their preferred path towards graduation. In 10th grade, students, along with their teachers, counselors, and parents, collaborate to select a personalized graduation pathway.
With a diverse student body, Universal American School takes pride in seeing its graduating seniors attend universities all around the world. In grade 11, students can choose between the IB Diploma Programme or the Advanced Placement (AP) and NYSS pathway.
Both pathways lead to an American high school diploma. Students in the IB Programme have the opportunity to earn an IB Diploma, while those in the AP/NYSS pathway can earn university credits through successful AP exams.
Through these personalized pathways, Universal American School aims to develop confident, empowered, and globally aware citizens. The school is committed to providing an education that prepares students for a successful future.
