At the 80th Academy Awards, Universal Pictures' "Atonement" received six nominations, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress for Ronan, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Film Music. In addition, the film received 14 nominations for the 61st BAFTA Awards and won the category of Best Drama at the 65th Golden Globe Awards.
