Université Ibn Zohr
Université Ibn Zohr (Ibn Zohr University) was founded in 1989 and is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Agadir (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Souss-Massa. This institution also has branch campuses in Ait-Melloul, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, Guelmim, Smara, and Dakhla. Université Ibn Zohr (UIZ) is a coeducational Moroccan higher education institution that is officially recognized by Morocco's Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche Scientifique, et de la Formation des Cadres (Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Professional Training).
Université Ibn Zohr (UIZ) provides courses and programs that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in a variety of fields of study. This 31-year-old Moroccan higher-education institution follows a selective admission policy based on entrance exams. International applicants are welcome to apply. UIZ also provides students with academic and non-academic facilities and services such as a library, housing, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, and administrative services.
