Université Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah (Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University) was founded in 1975 as a non-profit public higher-education institution in the urban setting of Fez (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Fes-Meknes. Université Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah (USMBA) is a large (enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational Moroccan higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. It is officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche Scientifique et de la Formation des Cadres (Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Professional Training of Morocco).
