Thomas Jefferson founded the University of Virginia in Virginia, USA in 1819. The University of Virginia is a leading public university and is known for its research labs. It also maintains 562 acres north of the North Fork campus and 2,913 acres at Morwen Farm southeast of the city. He also managed Wise College in southwest Virginia and George Mason University and the University of Mary Washington in northern Virginia until they became institutionally independent in 1972.
The University of Virginia is considered the first and only UNESCO World Heritage Site. Students from over 140 countries study at this university. That's why it's ranked among the top MBA universities in America in 2022.
