Vartiosaari
Vartiosaari is a lovely and pristine island located in Eastern Helsinki's inner group of islands between Laajasalo and Tammisalo, with an area of 1 square kilometer. The island offers awe-inspiring visual splendor, but the most exciting element is its kayak and ferry voyage, as the island is not connected to any bridges and cannot be walked or driven on. The boat voyage to the island is spectacular, lasting around 4 to 5 hours from Anttolanhovi port to the island.
The Viikinkikallio cliff, which offers a stunning perspective of the entire island, is the island's most picturesque attraction. The island is endowed with rich natural beauty, with dense forests, foraging grounds, rugged cliffs, meadows, and many stunning rock formations that make it appear to be from another planet. You may simply sit and observe its natural beauty, or you can go cycling across its landscapes to experience its spiritual scenic splendor.
Vartiosaari offers visitors a great 2.5-kilometer nature route covered in wood, boreal woods, and moss-colored rocks, which adds to the beauty of the trail. You can also see sheep, resident goats, raccoon dogs, bats, thousands of birds, rats, hares, moose, and magnificent colorful butterflies on the island, which gives it a magical look.
Vartiosaari is one of the most beautiful islands in Finland, and it can also be described as a paradise.
