As a member of Vietsovpetro (VSP) Joint Venture, which has a big name in the oil exploration industry, its Offshore Construction Division (OCD) is specialized in conducting detailed design & engineering, onshore fabrication, load out, sea-fastening, transportation, installation, hook up and commissioning as well as survey and repair of the offshore structures.

OCD has a huge workforce of nearly 1,400 highly-qualified professional and experienced personnel in various disciplines and professions such as construction, welding technology, electrical automation, anti-corrosion, metalism, hydraulic, construction equipment, etc… and a large and modern construction facility of 210.000 m2 port area including 144.500 m2 fabrication yards, 20.000 m2 workshops; three (03) skid ways with the capacity to load out jacket up to 216m length and 16-32 width along with modern equipment such as 14 crane/trailer up to maximum lifting capacity of 1350 tons, 2 rolling machines and other fabrication facilities such as automatic welding machines, CNC pipe profiling cutting/plate-cutting machine, blasting /painting machine, etc.

OCD also owns 3 liftings, pipeline laying barge/vessels ( Hoang Sa, Truong Sa, Con Son ) with maximum lifting capacity up to 1,200 tons, and pipeline laying speed up to 1,5 km/day which is ideal for its offshore installation work.

It can reach fabricating and installation capacity of over 30,000 tons per year. OCD owns a variety of quality certificates such as Quality Management Certificate: ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2007; Quality Management Certificate for Lab-testing and Calibration in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025; Certificates for Fabrication of Pressure Vessel in accordance with ASME Stamp USR; and Certificates for Construction of Structural Steel Pipe in accordance with API Specification Q1 and Specification 2B, AWS, etc …

OCD has successfully completed over 80 projects in-house at Dragon field, White Tiger field, Thien Ung Field, and White Rabit Field …. Besides, OCD has also successfully completed many other big projects for domestic and international clients such as Moc Tinh, Hai Thach project, Thang Long, Dong Do project, Deepwater Hai Hung 2 project, Ca Ngu Vang project, CLPP; CPC-CLPP, NCWI, E1, N1, S1 platforms projects, DGCP; PM3-Ca Mau gas platforms projects, Installation of the platform in Indonesia, etc.
