Visit Goms suspension bridge
When driving to Bellwald, just before the last bend up to Bellwald from the main road - right next to the main road - you will see one of Switzerland's longest suspension bridges. There is a dedicated parking area beside the bridge for bridge visitors. The "Goms Bridge", which was built and completed in the summer of 2015, connects the Bellwald and Ernen hiking regions, as well as the Rottenweg and the Gommer Höhenweg. At the same time, it connects Bellwald to the cantonal Gletsch-Lake Geneva cycling path and offers year-round access to the Binntal Landscape Park.
The suspension bridge is 280 meters in length and 1.4 meters in width. When you step on it, it shakes a little, but don't worry, it's a robust build. Toplist highly suggests visiting Ernen hamlet after crossing the bridge, which contains a handful of eateries where you may have a cup of coffee or some local food.
