Visit St. Patrick's Cathedral

This enormous cathedral is located amidst the frantic, distinctly secular Rockefeller Center. But that doesn't lessen the sense of otherworldliness it exudes. You can't help but be amazed by St. Patrick's, whether you're devout or just on a trip for the architecture. If you're using the subway, take the B, D, F, or M train to the Rockefeller Center stop if you're going to St. Patrick's. You can still get a fantastic aerial view of the cathedral from the Top of the Rock Observation Deck at Rockefeller Center if you don't have the time or stamina to explore St. Patrick's.
